Sheena Dooley

Sheena Dooley has been an education reporter for the Quad-City Times for three years. She covers K-12 school districts, private schools, community colleges and four-year colleges. Prior to working at the Quad-City Times, Dooley covered education issues for newspapers in Fort Wayne, Ind. and Bismarck, N.D., where she also covered the Legislature. In addition, she has worked for papers in Duluth, MN and Wisconsin. Dooley has more than a decade in reporting experience, seven years of which have been spent covering education. She graduated from the University of Minnesota and has received training through the Education Writer's Association, Hechinger Institute at Columbia University's Teacher College, Harvard University, the National Freedom of Information Coalition and Poytner Institute.
